Akbari Pistachios

Akbari Pistachios are the longest among Iranian Pistachios. They are also called super-long Pistachios. They are also the most expensive pistachios in Iran. To recognize Akbari Pistachios, you should notice that the widths of the head and the tail in Akbari Pistachios is the same. They contain the highest percentage of kernel to shell among Iranian Pistachios. The outer husk color in this type is brownish violet. Their shell has a dark cream color. They are available in 20-22, 22-24, and 24-26 sizes.
