Despite their name, peanuts are unrelated to tree nuts. As a legume, they’re related to beans, lentils, and soy.

They contain amino acids, vitamins, antioxidants, healthy fats, and minerals, as a result, they are good for the immune system, heart, bones, skin, and digestive system. They can be used as a snack, mixed with other nuts and dried fruits, and to make peanut butter, chocolates, sweets, and some main dishes.
